Like just about everyone else this year, the North York Harvest Food Bank has had to make adjustments in their services and operations while the demand for assistance has grown immensely!
In a typical year, our own team, the Mulholland Ross Group, would have already spent time volunteering in their sorting. Our sadly cancelled Shredding Event would have raised funds and food for the Harvest Food Bank. The sorting center has been shut down to volunteers, and regular donors and businesses alike have been distracted with their own challenges. Donations are running short.
As you can imagine, the demand has only increased. With job lay offs and everyone spending more time at home, keeping the fridge full isn’t a quick and easy online grocery order for many families across our city – and within our own neighbourhood.
Regardless of our physical limitations, we are determined to assist anyway we can.

ON MONDAY AUGUST 31ST 2020 We ask you to help make a difference!
We invite you to help in 3 ways. All safe and contactless. You choose.
- Place a box of non-perishable food donation items in front of your home and NOTIFY US to come pick up. On Monday August 31st our team will be out picking up those donations. We ask you place your donations in boxes or shopping bags. Remember, you’ll need to let us know it’s there.
- Bring your donations to our office at 246 Sheppard Ave West (corner of Senlac Rd) and we will remove them from your trunk for you. Please NOTIFY us that you will be coming so that we can coordinate the times.

- Make an Online Donation. The truth of it is, the North York Harvest Food Bank can make a dollar go way farther than we can when they purchase in bulk. This year due to COVID19 a financial contribution of any size is appreciated more than we can say!
