North York Environment Days April 2010

North York Community Clean Up Day

April 17th, 2010 10am – 2pm

People are asked to meet at Mel Lastman Square at 10 a.m on Saturday April 17th.  A group of local residents will be cleaning up a stretch of Yonge Street outside the North York Civic Centre.

Bring gloves. Garbage bags will be provided. Everyone is welcome and encouraged to come along and help keep our city a beautiful place to live and work.

20 Minute Make Over

April 23 and/or 24th, 2010

20 Minutes any time of day

In celebration of Earth Day,  the City of Toronto is re-introducing the 20-Minute Makeover, where participants go outside for 20 minutes and clean around their workplace, school or another public area.
